Goldsmiths Careers Service is one of The Careers Group, University of London’s network of locally provided college careers services.
The Careers Service offers a range of services to support students, graduates and staff with their employability and career development.
The main functions within the Careers Service are:
- Advice and guidance: providing careers education, advice and guidance to students in one-to-one and group sessions, and working with academic departments to enhance employability provision.
- Information: providing high-quality and relevant careers information to students, both online and through face-to-face support.
- Employer liaison: encouraging employers to engage with our students through on-campus activity; co-ordinating and managing work placement modules for students across the university; setting up paid internships in small- and medium-sized businesses for students and graduates (co-funded by Santander).
- Skills development: providing support to student enterprise; enhancing academic and professional skills; co-ordinating the HEAR and the Gold Award.
